An umbrella intervention meant to ensure the well-being of every child through comprehensive service provision. Community volunteers are trained in case management equipping them with skills to identify children in need of care in their communities. Upon identification they assess their situation, profile and forward cases to the office. Depending on the case type and resources availability, assistance is offered or a referral is made to appropriate service provider. The trained community volunteers do follow up home visits to ensure services were accessed. Cases handled include abuse, neglect, delinquency and birth registration. Counselling services are provided to children and their families. Caregivers are engaged in parenting sessions to continuously improve the care environment. Staff, beneficiaries and associates are sensitized of the organization’s Child Safeguarding policy as a measure to prevent child abuse, exploitation or harassment at all levels.
