Our Priorities
Our Strategic Focus
Our priorities for creating pathways for vulnerable children and young people to learn, thrive and reach their full potential.
Establish a Vocational Training Skills Hub
Creating a dedicated space where young people can access practical skills training in trades such as tailoring, carpentry, welding, and information technology. This hub will provide hands-on experience and job readiness training to enhance employability.
Our goal is to build a fully equipped, purpose-built vocational training centre where vulnerable young people can develop marketable skills in high-demand trades. The hub will feature modern workshops for tailoring, carpentry, welding, and IT, along with mentorship from industry professionals and direct links to employment opportunities. This will transform our current training capacity and open doors to meaningful livelihoods for hundreds of young people annually.
Expand Second Chance Education
Increase access to second chance education by expanding our accelerated learning programme and growing strategic partnerships with community schools. We aim to increase our reach from 400 to at least 1,000 vulnerable out-of-school children and young people annually, giving more learners the opportunity to return to education, complete their studies, and build brighter futures.
Building on over a decade of success, we aim to triple our reach by scaling our proven accelerated learning model and partnering with more community schools across Zimbabwe. This expansion will include recruiting and training additional teachers, providing more learning materials and meals, and strengthening our reintegration programme so that every learner has a clear pathway from enrollment to completion and beyond.
